本周，在国际课堂上，五年级同学学习了与性格相关的词汇和句型。
同学们通过任务法、项目式，在小组合作中，不仅循序渐进地学会了如何更好地表达自己，也领悟到了倾听和接纳的重要性，更是通过演讲、讨论、分享等多种方式，积极寻求与同伴有效沟通的方式和方法，最终达到求同尊异。

塑造品格 提升自我
性格主题单元的学习有助于学生沟通技巧的提升和品格塑造。
品格是人最宝贵最有价值、最美好的财富。一个国家的前途，不取决于它的国库之殷实，不取决它的城墙之坚固，也不取决于它的公共设施之华丽，而是取决于人们所接受的教育、远见的卓识、坚韧的品格和正能量的性格。
作为Yinhai Academy的学生，凭借良好的英语语言和文化理解，以及双语阅读优势，我们开始与世界上的优秀文化和有影响力的人建立联系，并学习他们，积极去激励、鼓舞、感染身边人。
我们期许孩子们成为一个自由、独立、内心充盈，拥有真心、善识、美行的人。

We are in from G5 and today we will be discussing our favorite famous person.
What we are learning:
In class, we have begun to explore what type of people we are. We discuss and expand our knowledge of English by relating it to who we are and want to become. We do this by learning new adjectives to add color and life to the English language that we are striving to acquire and to be perfect.
Not only have we begun to expand our vocabulary, but we have started to realize how our personalities are like those around us. We can now reach out into the world and identify with people who share common interests.
The importance of learning and describing personalities is to build our communication skills. Now when people ask me what I am like, I can tell them. From working on my literacy skills, I can discuss what I like and dislike about people. By increasing my vocabulary, I can now talk about the unique things of my life and myself.
As students, we can now relate to people who have influence in the world and realize that we can inspire people just like they have.
